Job summary

Jena Band of Choctaw Tribe is seeking a Gaming Machine Technician to service all Class II gaming machines and provide high-level guest service. The role requires preventive maintenance and advanced repairs within a casino environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment, reading schematics, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with NIGC and internal regulations. Collaboration with departments is essential, with readiness for physical tasks and 50 lb lifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree or gaming/technical diploma with 1+ year Slot Technician experience.
• Ability to read operator manuals and complete projects with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class II gaming machines.
• Repair machines and ensure compliance with NIGC and internal regulations.
• Maintain pass down/M.E.A.L./PM logs and attendance records.
• Diagnose equipment to component level and read schematics.
• Install, move and perform major repairs on equipment.
• Safely operate shop tools and soldering equipment.
• Respond to calls within 3 minutes and handle moves/setup with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with Tech Supervisor on required parts.
