Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Gaming Technician I to help keep all bingo gaming machines and related equipment running smoothly. The shift is 2:30pm-11:30pm and subject to change based on business needs.

Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing equipment reports, testing machines, performing preventive maintenance, moving and installing units, diagnosing malfunctions, and coordinating with fellow technicians and management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or enrolled and able to complete GED within six months.
• Must be twenty-one years of age or older.
• Casino Gaming or casino IT department experience preferred (1 year).
• Or two years’ experience with computers or electronics.
• Able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs; dolly lift up to 150 lbs.
• Pass interview, including a guest service audition.
• Able to work odd hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to travel and participate in training as required.
• Must have Tribal Gaming License or ability to obtain one.
• Willing to work in a smoke environment.

• Maintains a sense of urgency in responding to calls for assistance or when dispatched.
• Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned electronic bingo gaming devices.
• Moves and installs machines as needed.
• Researches and diagnoses game equipment malfunctions.
• Troubleshoots, reads meters and performs regular maintenance.
• Communicates information to fellow Technicians and Game Management.
• Takes initiative to assist guests, co-associates, and management.
• Works closely with Vendor Technicians.
• Adheres to MICS/TICS, Company and Departmental Expectations.
• Helps maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• One (1) year experience in a casino Gaming or casino IT department (Class II or Class III)- preferred
• OR two (2) years’ experience working with computers or electronics- preferred
• Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 150 pounds using a dolly
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
