Job summary
Wind Creek Montgomery is seeking a Gaming Technician I to maintain and test gaming machines and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond promptly to service requests, and coordinate with vendor technicians to ensure optimal operation.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Prior casino IT or electronics experience is preferred, along with tribal gaming licensing or the ability to obtain one.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 21+ years old
- 1 year casino Gaming or casino IT department experience preferred or 2 years in computers/electronics
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and 150 lbs with dolly
- Willing to work odd hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have Tribal Gaming License or ability to obtain one
- Willing to work in a smoke environment
Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes reports related to game equipment performance
- Prepares and tests gaming machines
- Responds quickly to calls for assistance
- Performs preventive maintenance on gaming devices
- Moves and installs machines as needed
- Diagnoses game equipment malfunctions and troubleshoots
- Communicates information to fellow Technicians and Management
- Maintains inventory of parts and supplies
- Works with Vendor Technicians as required
- Supports guest service efforts during shift
