Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Gaming Machine Technician to maintain and repair Class II gaming machines while delivering high guest service. The role requires reading schematics, performing complex repairs, and documenting PM logs and attendance with diligence.

The ideal candidate has a tech/gaming diploma or equivalent experience, can operate shop tools and soldering equipment, and can work with multiple departments to meet casino standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of related experience or training.
• Two-year college degree or gaming/technical diploma with slot technician experience preferred; or equivalent.
• Must be able to read operator manuals and complete projects with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all Class II gaming machines.
• Repair machines and equipment at an advanced level.
• Maintain accurate PM and pass down logs, MEAL cards, and attendance records.
• Read and understand electronic schematics.
• Install, move, and perform major repairs on machines and related equipment.
• Safely operate shop tools, electronic equipment, and soldering equipment.
• Respond to service calls within three minutes and work with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate parts with the Tech Supervisor and manage machine setup and releases.
