Job summary

Mercy invites applications for a Primary Care Certified Medical Assistant to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers, delivering safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. You will partner with patients and the clinical team to close care gaps, complete medication reconciliation, and support quality outcomes while following Mercy Service Standards.

New hires must attend the MA Clinic Academy training and maintain MA certification, with BLS required for hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Must actively maintain MA certification.
• Caregivers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title.
• Caregivers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
• Certification(s): BLS (Basic Life Support) for Hospital Outpatient Departments.
• Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for Hospital Outpatient care.
