Job summary

Barns & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Billing Specialist to support client invoicing and electronic billing submissions. You will work with billing attorneys, LAAs, and the accounting team to ensure accurate proformas, timely invoices, and compliant submissions.

The role requires 3–5 years of billing experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Elite 3E and eBilling hub tools. On-site Indianapolis location with confidential handling of client matters.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading, writing and arithmetic at high school level to verify accounts.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance/billing to understand policies and procedures.
• Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Operate Elite 3E and eBilling hub; generate and send invoices to clients and vendors.
• Coordinate between billing attorneys, LAAs, and accounting; train on billing procedures.
• Prepare proformas, edits, final invoices, and electronic submissions for clients.
