Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners in real-world construction projects, delivering meshes, reports, and scan-to-CAD files for clients.

You will plan scans on sites, verify capture, process data in Artec Studio, and provide formatted outputs. Travel to regional hubs is expected as assigned, with growth toward regional roles or project management in time.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience operating a handheld scanner on real projects (Artec Leo, Eva, Space Spider, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of Artec Studio or similar software for mesh cleanup and registration.
• Familiarity with reading structural/fabrication drawings in CAD tools.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of structures and components before concrete placement or during construction.
• Control drift on large objects using reference features and overlapping zones.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL/OBJ/E57/CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps and anchor bolt reports against drawings or CAD.
