Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Advance Manufacturing Assembler in Santa Clara, CA to join a premier manufacturing organization. The role focuses on assembling electromechanical prototypes, collaborating with engineers, and driving improvements to lower costs and shorten assembly times.

You will work with hand tools and PCBA processes, contributing to lean manufacturing practices, while developing work cells and processes for efficient production.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of relevant assembly experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Hold an Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (preferred).
  • Possess strong experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.).
  • Have soldering skills and PCBA (through-hole and SMT) certifications/experience (preferred).
  • Are skilled in fabrication techniques (e.g., hand drill, drill press) (preferred).
  • Are familiar with production and lean principles (preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information and build consensus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with design and manufacturing engineers to improve assembly practices.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to reduce product cost and assembly time.
  • Redlining assembly procedures and Bills of Materials based on findings.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: up to $45.00 per hour
Shift: 8-5 (8Hr Day shift)
