Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer in San Francisco to partner with advertisers and agencies across the pre-sales and growth lifecycle, translating objectives into scalable technical solutions for measurement, data activation, and campaign execution. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solutions engineering, sales engineering, or related client-facing tech role.
• Experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, conversion APIs, identity solutions, or data integrations.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Partners to provide technical expertise that unlocks new business and accelerates deal closure.
• Lead technical discovery with advertisers and agencies on data flows, martech, measurement requirements, and activation goals.
• Design and recommend implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, identity solutions, and measurement frameworks.
• Guide onboarding and launch readiness, ensuring tracking, attribution, and reporting readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues related to implementation, signal quality, delivery, and measurement performance.
• Create demos, proofs of concept, and technical narratives to demonstrate value of OpenAI’s ads solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to escalate issues and influence roadmap priorities.
• Create repeatable technical documentation, playbooks, and best practices for advertiser adoption.
