Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to partner with advertisers and agencies through pre-sales and growth, serving as the technical expert in evaluating, launching, and scaling on OpenAI’s advertising platform.

You’ll work across measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution, collaborating with Client Partners, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Policy, and Operations to remove blockers and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering or related client-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, APIs, identity solutions, or data integrations.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Partners to provide technical expertise that unlocks new business and accelerates deal closure.
• Lead technical discovery with advertisers and agencies to understand data flows and measurement requirements.
• Design and recommend implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, identity solutions, and measurement frameworks.
• Guide advertisers through onboarding and launch readiness, ensuring tracking and reporting setups.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to implementation, signal quality, delivery, and measurement performance.
• Create demos, proofs of concept, and technical narratives showing value of OpenAI’s ads solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to elevate issues and influence roadmap priorities.
• Create documentation, playbooks, and best practices to scale advertiser adoption globally.
• Train internal sales and success teams on technical capabilities and product features.
