Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to partner with advertisers and agencies through the pre-sales and growth lifecycle. You will act as the technical expert, translating advertiser objectives into scalable solutions across measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering, reporting to the Ads Solutions Team in San Francisco with relocation support for new hires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering or related client-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, conversion APIs, or identity solutions.
• Understanding of tag managers, CDPs, analytics tools, and data warehouses.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience writing SQL and working with APIs or structured data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients during the sales cycle to provide technical expertise and unlock new business.
• Lead technical discovery to understand data flows and activation goals.
• Design implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, and server-to-server integrations.
• Guide onboarding and launch readiness including tracking and reporting.
• Troubleshoot integration and measurement issues.
• Create demos and technical narratives to showcase value.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to address customer needs.
• Produce repeatable technical documentation and playbooks.
• Help train sales and success teams on capabilities.
