OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer in San Francisco to partner with advertisers and agencies across the pre-sales and growth lifecycle. You will translate objectives into scalable technical solutions, spanning measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution.
You will collaborate with multiple teams to remove blockers, accelerate revenue growth, and shape the future of OpenAI's ads platform. Strong ownership and a customer‑focused mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical account management.
- Experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, conversions, and identity solutions.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Client Partners during the sales cycle to provide technical expertise and accelerate deals.
- Lead technical discovery with advertisers to understand data flows, martech, and activation goals.
- Design and recommend implementations for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, and measurement frameworks.
- Guide onboarding and launch readiness for advertisers, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
- Troubleshoot implementation, signal quality, and measurement performance issues.
- Create demos, proofs of concept, and technical narratives to showcase value.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to raise issues and influence roadmap.
- Produce repeatable technical documentation and playbooks for global advertiser adoption.
- Train internal teams on capabilities and product features.
