Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to collaborate with advertisers and agencies throughout pre-sales and growth cycles. You will translate objectives into scalable technical solutions across measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering, partnering with multiple teams to remove blockers, accelerate revenue growth, and shape the future of OpenAI’s ads platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or allied roles.
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, converters, or identity solutions.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Partners to unlock new business and accelerate deal closure.
• Lead technical discovery with advertisers to map data flows and measurement needs.
• Design implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, and identity solutions.
• Guide onboarding and launch readiness, ensuring tracking and reporting are properly set up.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to implementation and measurement performance.
• Create demos, PoCs, and technical narratives to show value of ads solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and roadmap priorities.
• Produce repeatable technical docs, playbooks, and best practices for global ad adoption.
• Train internal teams on capabilities, integrations, and product features.
