Job summary

Jefferson Council on Aging seeks an ADRC Specialist to provide telephone-based information, referral, and intake services to seniors, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and families.

Under the ADRC Supervisor, you will help callers identify needs and connect them with long-term care programs and community resources, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in information and referral services or intake screening is preferred.
• Strong communication and interviewing skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and data entry.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or long-term care services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer client calls and conduct intake screenings.
• Provide information on community resources and programs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and referrals.
• Possess valid Louisiana driver license and auto insurance.
