Job summary

Arlington County Government's Aging and Disability Services Division seeks an experienced Aging & Disability Resource Center Supervisor to lead the ADRC within the Agency on Aging. The role combines clinical oversight, program administration, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality, person-centered services for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Gerontology or related clinical discipline; must include a clinical practicum.
• Three years post-master's experience in professional clinical social work with diagnostic, treatment, and case management.
• At least one year of direct service aligned with the position's duties.
• Licensure by the Virginia Board of Health Professions is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the ADRC to ensure high-quality, person-centered service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and standards.
• Monitor program performance and compliance through data analysis and reporting; recommend improvements.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and contract performance to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership and partners to integrate services and strengthen support for clients and families.
• Lead outreach and community engagement to increase ADRC visibility and represent the ADRC at meetings.
• Partner with QA to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Assist the AAA Director and committees through staff support and attendance at meetings.
