Job summary

Prince Industries LLC in Carol Stream, IL seeks a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to own end-to-end payroll across six locations. You will administer ADP Workforce Now (Next Gen) and the Time Labor Management system, manage health benefits and 401(k), and ensure compliance with FLSA/ACA while auditing payroll data.

The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of high-volume payroll experience in manufacturing, advanced Excel skills, and CPP/FPC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of high-volume payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now; Next Gen helpful; strong Excel skills for reconciliation
• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR/Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
• CPP or FPC certification is a strong plus
• Understanding of multi-state tax, garnishments and labor laws

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, incl. shift differentials and overtime
• Administer ADP Workforce Now platform and Time Labor Management system
• Lead benefits administration: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and open enrollment
• Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws; lead audits
• Prepare payroll/HR reports for plant leadership and budgeting
• Serve as first point of contact for pay discrepancies and benefits inquiries
• Troubleshoot payroll/benefits software issues to minimize disruption
• Maintain data integrity across payroll, vendor and employee records
