Job summary

Prince Industries LLC in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HRIS Administrator to own end-to-end payroll and benefits for six locations across multiple states. You will ensure accurate, on-time payroll and compliance with labor laws, including shift differentials and overtime, with hands-on ADP Workforce Now experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of high-volume payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now; Next Gen experience a plus; advanced Excel for data reconciliation.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, or Finance preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• CPP or FPC certification is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of multi-state tax jurisdictions, garnishments, and labor laws; high confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses.
• Act as primary administrator for ADP Workforce Now (Next Gen) and maintain data integrity in Time Labor Management system.
• Lead administration of employee health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws; lead audits including workers' compensation and 401(k) audits.
• Generate and analyze payroll/HR reports for plant leadership to aid labor cost analysis and budgeting.
• Serve as first point of contact for pay discrepancies, tax withholdings, and benefits inquiries.
• Troubleshoot payroll/benefits software issues and maintain internal controls for audit readiness.
• Administer file feeds between vendors and payroll systems and maintain data integrity across records.
