PACS is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in guiding licensed and non-licensed staff delivering 24/7 care to residents. The role includes overseeing clinical operations, staff development, and resident safety, with a focus on maintaining regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, are in good standing with the state board, and have 3–5 years of nurse management experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSN required from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be in good standing with state nursing board and maintain continuing education.
• 3–5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.

Responsabilités

• Assist DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff activities.
• Develop and implement nursing services, policies and procedures.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff in collaboration with the DON.
• Perform staff appraisals and address disciplinary issues as needed.
• Oversee clinical operations, rounds and resident condition monitoring.
• Ensure resident safety and uphold resident rights.
• Liaise with residents, families and physicians; attend staff meetings.
• Provide reports and recommendations to DON; help design nursing systems.
