Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain licensure.
• 3–5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; proficient in documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; conduct employee appraisals.
• Oversee clinical operations, rounds, and resident safety.
• Liaise with residents, families, and physicians; attend staff meetings.
• Provide reports and improve nursing systems; ensure resident rights.
• Maintain confidentiality and stay current with regulatory changes.
