Responsibilities
- Assists DON with planning, directing and supervising nursing staff.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Develops and updates nursing department policies and procedures.
- Oversees staffing to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in annual surveys and follows through on corrective actions.
