Job summary
Willow Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing department’s daily operations and uphold high standards of resident care.
The role requires an RN in good standing with North Carolina licensure, at least three years of nursing experience, and 1–2 years of supervisory responsibilities. Daily pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this leadership opportunity.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Active CPR certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills across departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support nursing staff to maintain high resident care standards.
- Coordinate infection control programs to ensure safety.
- Educate and mentor nursing staff for professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, nursing standards, and regulations.
- Manage daily staffing processes for proper coverage.
- Be available for on-call support (24-hour as needed).
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records.
