Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Bloomington, MN seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in directing care for residents and to oversee health programs and staff development. The ADON provides supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Minnesota.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and infection control.
• Ability to teach clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Flexible hours and independent work ability.
• Able to pass background check per MN DHS.
• Leadership experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in directing licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure quality care.
• Oversee infection control and health programs.
• Coordinate employee injury management processes and safety reporting.
• Facilitate staff orientation, training, and competency assessments.
• Maintain records, data collection, and QA committee reporting.
• Promote ongoing staff development and quality care.
