Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in directing care across licensed and non-licensed staff. The ADON will oversee occupational health, staff development, and infection control, ensuring safety and quality in resident care.

Responsibilities include data collection, incident evaluation, and reporting to safety and quality committees. The role also focuses on staff training, orientation, and audits to elevate care standards across

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse, currently licensed by the State of Minnesota.
• Experience or interest in safety regulations, disaster preparedness, microorganisms, infection prevention, and control measures.
• Must have an interest in teaching both professional and non-professional staff.
• Must have basic computer competencies or be willing to attend training to attain competency.
• Must be flexible with working hours and possesses the ability to work independently.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per Minnesota DHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The ADON assists the DON in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel to ensure quality care.
• Oversees, facilitates, and manages occupational health and staff development functions within the facility.
• Infection control and coordination of employee injury management and health programs.
• Surveillance, maintaining records, data collection, and assessment; reporting to safety and quality committees.
• Facilitates staff development through orientation, training, competency evaluations, and audits.
• Promotes quality care through development of staff knowledge, skills and aptitude.
