AA Healthcare Management seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The ADON will support planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Department under the Director of Nursing and Medical Director.

The role emphasizes restorative care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and compliance with regulations, while guiding staff development and patient-focused care.

Competenze

• Must have a current and active RN license with the state of Wisconsin.
• Previous nurse supervisor experience.

Mansioni

• Assists in development and implementation of the Nursing Program.
• Meets with the facility’s interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain restorative care standards.
• Ensures the nursing program complies with laws, regulations, and national standards.
• Participates in the admission process by meeting with new Guests and overviewing the restorative program.
• Participates in discharge planning and development of Guest care plans and assessments.
• Performs administrative tasks such as charting and reports.
• Assists with recruitment and supervision of nursing staff.
• Provides guidance and education to staff on performance.
• Conducts annual performance reviews of subordinate staff.
• Provides counseling and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Performs floor nursing care assignments and follows licensure scope.
• Ensures guest care plans are followed and status is reviewed with care planning.
