Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in directing licensed and non-licensed staff and ensure quality resident care. The ADON will oversee occupational health, staff development, infection control, incident reporting, training, audits and performance improvement efforts, while promoting safety and compliance across the facility.

Strong leadership, RN licensure in Minnesota, flexibility and commitment to resident

Qualifications

Must be a registered nurse licensed in Minnesota.
Interest in safety regulations, accident prevention, disaster preparedness, infection control.
Interest in teaching both professional and non-professional staff.
Basic computer competencies or willingness to learn.
Flexible hours and ability to work independently.
Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.
Qualify for employment after background check per MN DHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist the DON in directing licensed and non-licensed staff to deliver quality care.
Oversee occupational health, infection control, and staff development functions.
Coordinate employee injury management, safety committees, and quality audits.
Lead orientation, training, competency evaluations, and preceptorships.
Promote quality care through staff knowledge and skills development.
