Job summary

Guardian Center seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care. The role requires strong leadership, an active RN license, and prior DON/ADON experience to guide policies and operations.

The ADON will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans, monitor staff performance, and maintain HIPAA compliance while promoting a positive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous DON or ADON experience required.
• Rehabilitation focus, wound care experience, Medicare A & B knowledge.
• Experience with MDS/Care Plans and behavior management residents.
• Strong regulatory compliance record and Total Quality Management familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department operations including staff management and patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment.
