Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Russellville, KY, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing services for our 104-bed facility. The ADON will coordinate infection control, supervise staff education, and ensure compliant, quality care for all residents.

This on-site role requires the ability to manage on-call duties and maintain comprehensive nursing practice knowledge. The ADON will oversee staffing, assist with interviewing and orienting new nurses, and maintain

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Long-Term Care experience required.
• Management experience preferred.
• Staff education experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents.
• Coordinate infection control.
• Educate the staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• 24 hours on call.
• Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
• Oversee daily staffing process.
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
