Job summary

Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center seeks an ADON to assist the DON in directing licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure quality resident care. You will oversee infection control and staff development in collaboration with a Clinical Educator as needed.

The role includes surveillance, record-keeping, data collection, incident reporting to safety and quality committees, and coordinating orientation and training to promote staff knowledge and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN licensed by Minnesota.
• Interest in safety regulations and infection control.
• Interest in teaching professional staff.
• Basic computer competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in directing activities of licensed/non- licensed staff to ensure quality care.
• Oversee infection prevention and staff development with the Clinical Educator when available.
• Coordinate employee injury management and safety programs.
• Facilitate staff orientation, training, and competency evaluations.
