Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead orientation, in-service and clinical training for nursing staff in our skilled nursing neighborhood. You will oversee infection control as the infection preventionist and assist the Director of Nursing with administrative duties.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in good standing, with at least five years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care, and experience with in-service

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum five years clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Experience with in-service education.
• Clinical supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate new hire orientation programs and ongoing nursing education.
• Oversight of infection prevention program and training for nursing staff.
• Assist Director of Nursing with management and administrative duties.
