Job summary

Greenwood Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Lewistown, PA seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to work with the DON to support nursing department functions in our rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. The ADON will help us reach our goal of delivering premier resident care.

Responsibilities include ensuring nursing staff compliance with standards, assisting with budgets, implementing infection prevention policies, and leading quality improvement initiatives to

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Must hold an active PA RN license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an ADON preferred; unit manager/nursing supervisor in long-term care may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing personnel comply with standards and regulatory requirements for quality resident care.
• Support development and implementation of nursing department budgets with facility administration.
• Implement compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.
• Surveillance, rounding, analysis, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections.
• Lead infection prevention efforts and promote evidence-based policies across the organization.
