Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing neighborhood in Florida. The role involves developing orientation and ongoing education programs, overseeing infection control, and assisting the DON with administrative duties.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Experience with in-service education and clinical supervision is preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate new hire orientation programs.
• Develop educational in-service/clinical programs and staff training.
• Oversee infection control program as infection preventionist to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with management and administrative functions.
