Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON – LPN) to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care across skilled nursing or assisted living communities.

You'll train, supervise, and develop the nursing team, work with the Director of Nursing, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a resident-centered environment and strong clinical teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with training, supervision, and development of nursing staff.
• Support the administration of the nursing program to maintain quality standards of resident care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, CMAs, and other care team members.
• Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing services matters.
• Support resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and monitoring of condition changes.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and survey readiness.
• Promote a safe, respectful, home-like environment for residents.
