North Shore Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our skilled nursing facility. This working manager role balances on-floor presence with administrative oversight to deliver high-quality resident care.

You will support the DON, ensure regulatory compliance, manage department budgets, and lead nursing staff through training and performance reviews. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state and ability to meet regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial and management skills with flexibility for travel.
• Ability to lead nursing staff, communicate effectively, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and center programs.
• Maintain records and reports on resident care and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee orientation and training; manage nursing department within budget.
• Work on the floor with residents and staff; participate in on-call rotation.
