Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON – LPN) to support nursing leadership in our skilled nursing communities. You’ll train staff, oversee the nursing program, and ensure compliant resident care with leadership collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• LPN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with training, supervision, and development of nursing staff.
• Support the administration of the nursing program to maintain quality standards of resident care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, CMAs, and other care team members.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and administrators on matters related to nursing services.
• Support resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and monitoring of changes in condition.
