Hidden Lake Health Care Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee infection prevention and lead the nursing team. The role emphasizes staff management, policy development, and collaboration to create individualized care plans for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the practice state, with DON/ADON experience, and a strong background in infection prevention, rehab, wound care, and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• DON/ADON experience required.
• Infectious disease/infection prevention experience.
• Rehabilitation focus and wound care knowledge; Medicare A & B.
• Willing to work with behavior management residents; MDS/Care Plans.
• Strong regulatory compliance and commitments to TQM.
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor staff; HIPAA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department, including staff management and patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment.
