Creative Solutions in Healthcare in Texas is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations and support quality resident care. This leadership role requires dependable, clinically sound judgment and collaboration in a dynamic setting.

You will oversee staffing, contribute to MDS and care planning, supervise nursing staff, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold infection control standards in a geriatric environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with strong clinical judgment and leadership experience.
• Experience with geriatric/long-term care nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain up-to-date resident records
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians and teams to design individualized plans
• Support Staff Resources: ensure access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
• Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and implement infection control measures
