Job summary

Arborviewsl in Colorado seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Infection Prevention leader to plan, develop, and direct the nursing service department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will ensure the highest quality of care for residents, lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program, and supervise staffing and policy development. A nursing leadership background in long-term care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and maintain an active RN license in the state
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs
• Develop and update policies and procedures for day-to-day nursing operations
• Determine staffing needs and schedule duties; supervise nursing personnel
• Ensure staff are enrolled in or have completed approved training programs
• Oversee the facility infection prevention and control program and ensure regulatory compliance
