Job summary

Dubois Continuum of Care Community is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Infection Control. The role provides leadership to the nursing team and oversees the facility's infection prevention program, ensuring high quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will back up the Director of Nursing, train staff on policies, participate in committees, and drive continuous improvement in patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Nurse in a long-term care setting.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and infection control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the nursing team and oversee the infection control program.
• Assist the DON with administrative duties and act as backup when DON is away.
• Train staff on policies and procedures related to exposure or blood and body fluids.
• Lead or participate in facility committees and promote staff morale and cooperation.
• Meet with personnel to identify and correct problems and improve services.
• Communicate the infection control program to encourage staff participation.
