Job summary

San Marcos Treatment Center in Central Texas is seeking a full-time RN to join our adolescent care team. The RN provides physical assessments, implements and evaluates treatment plans, administers medications, and supervises Mental Health Technicians and LVN staff in a safe, therapeutic milieu.

Under the Director of Nursing, you will document care, manage crises, and support family education while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to youths aged 6 to 17.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas professional Nurse License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrates organization; implements nursing process and safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assessments and medical management for pediatric/adolescent patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document care.
• Implement and evaluate treatment plans with the treatment team.
• Supervise Mental Health Technicians and LVN staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• Provide crisis management and patient safety oversight.
