Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse to join the adolescent population at San Marcos Treatment Center in Texas. The RN will provide direct patient care, implement treatment plans, administer medications, and perform ongoing assessments under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The role includes crisis management and supervision to maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Qualified candidates hold a Texas RN license, with preference for psychiatric/neuropsychiatric

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• One year psychiatric/neuropsychiatric experience with adolescents/young adults in long-term hospital or residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and management of children, adolescent, and young adult patients as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Perform physical assessments of patients and implement treatment plans.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents care.
• Ensure safety and crisis management within the milieu and supervise staff as needed.
