Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support adolescents in our PHP and IOP programs onsite. Under licensed clinicians, you will facilitate psychoeducational groups, reinforce treatment goals, monitor safety, and help youth apply coping skills in daily activities.

This role requires strong communication, professionalism, and a commitment to trauma-informed care while maintaining boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Education, or related field.
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health, PHP/IOP, school-based, or residential settings.
• Strong interpersonal, group-facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries and follow structured curricula.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Guidelight-approved psychoeducational groups under licensed staff.
• Deliver structured curriculum to reinforce treatment goals and build behavioral skills.
• Support therapeutic milieu and supervise clients during transitions and meals.
• Engage clients in coping strategies and practice skills from the clinical team.
• Document observations and attend treatment team discussions.
• Maintain safety, professionalism, and trauma-informed care.
