Vanguard is seeking a strategic technologist to own Adobe Journey Optimizer within its Financial Advisor Services marketing tech stack. You will lead onboarding, configuration, and maturation of AJO, driving adoption and measurable value across teams.

You’ll connect CDP, Target, Marketo, and other components to ensure smooth, scalable journeys. The role requires deep AJO experience, fluency across the Adobe suite, strong consulting skills, and a proven track record of turning technology into

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer — or closely adjacent Adobe Experience Platform journey/campaign tools with a clear, fast path to AJO mastery.
• Working fluency across the broader Adobe stack — you understand how CDP, Target, Marketo, tag management, Web SDK, and CJA connect and depth in more than one tool.
• Strong consulting instincts — listen well, frame problems clearly, influence without authority across technical and business partners.
• A track record of driving adoption and measurable outcomes, not just standing up tools.
• A fast, deep learner — comfortable going deep enough on a platform to teach others.
• Excellent communication skills — you make complex technology understandable and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Be our AJO expert.
• Serve as the go-to authority for Adobe Journey Optimizer (B2C) — onboarding, configuration, maturation.
• Drive adoption and utilization across teams.
• Turn powerful tools into everyday capability for marketers.
• Connect the stack with Marketo, Real-Time CDP, Target, tag management, Web SDK, and CJA.
• Identify FAS-specific use cases and guide enterprise partners on features and processes.
• Shape workflows, standards, and practices to scale the stack.
• Troubleshoot configuration and execution issues and unblock the team.
