You will be the welcoming face and voice for new residents, their families, and hospital partners, working closely with the Admissions Director to ensure a smooth transition into care.

The position involves coordinating admissions, verifying insurance, coordinating referrals, and conducting facility tours in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting, admissions, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance verification processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• First Point of Contact: Greet prospective residents, families, and healthcare professionals warmly in person and over the phone.
• Admissions Coordination: Assist with scheduling resident intake, managing pre-admission documentation, and preparing admission packets.
• Referral Management: Follow up with hospitals, physicians, and case managers to secure timely transfer of clinical information.
• Financial Verification: Verify insurance benefits and handle authorizations.
• Facility Tours: Conduct tours of the rehabilitation gym and facility for prospective families.
• Team Collaboration: Work with nursing, social services, and administrative staff.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate documentation per state, federal, and company guidelines.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our facility, serving as a critical point of contact for new residents, their families, and hospital partners. You will work closely with our Admissions Director to ensure a seamless, empathetic, and efficient transition into our care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
