Job summary

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, a physician owned facility in Tulsa, seeks an ECB Admissions Specialist to interview patients, complete admission processes, and maintain accurate hospital records. The role requires at least 1 year in healthcare admissions, with a 24-hour monthly minimum and rotating weekend coverage. Full benefits and discretionary quarterly bonuses are offered.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm with some Saturdays, and all staff participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in healthcare admissions.
• Basic knowledge of medical office terminology.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and complete admission process.
• Ensure hospital records are accurate and inform patients of policies.
• Register patients, review demographics, update insurance as needed, collect any portion due and have patient sign forms.
