Job summary

The Connection Inc. in New Haven is seeking an Admissions Specialist for the Sierra DOC Mental Health program. You will welcome and orient clients, complete intake paperwork and assessments, and support clients through the intake process.

This role may involve facilitating psycho-educational groups, carrying a caseload, and coordinating with the Program Manager. A bilingual Spanish speaker is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree and CT driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient clients to the program and complete initial intake paperwork and required assessments.
• Support the client throughout the intake process and may carry a caseload.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups/activities.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and team to ensure a smooth intake process.
