Job summary

The Connection in New Haven, CT is seeking an Admissions Specialist for the Sierra DOC Mental Health program. You will welcome clients, guide them through intake, and assist with assessments while supporting their transition back into the community.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years experience, and a CT driver's license. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred; schedule is full-time, first shift, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years related experience required.
• Valid Connecticut driver’s license required.
• Regular and predictable attendance expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient clients to the program and complete intake paperwork.
• Assist with required assessments and support clients through intake.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups/activities.
• Possibly carry a caseload under supervision; bilingual ability preferred.
