Job summary

Unitek Learning in Phoenix seeks an Admissions Specialist to engage prospective students, present programs, and guide applicants from inquiry to enrollment. You will conduct consultative interviews, follow up to answer questions, document activities in Nexus/CampusVue, and manage a high-volume outreach schedule to fill nursing and allied health programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admissions).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong presentation skills and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours weekly.
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students.
• Make 100–150 outbound daily calls to assess interest and schedule interviews.
• Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews presenting program options and outcomes.
• Follow up with prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect admissions documents.
• Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

What you’ll do:

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students who’ve expressed interest in Unitek programs.
• Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews.
• Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes.
• Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents.
• Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

Who you are:

• Empathetic, mission-driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare.
• Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and professional follow-up.
• Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path.
• Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems (experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus).
• Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher-education sales experience preferred.

Qualifications
