Job summary

Unitek Education is seeking an Admissions Representative to connect motivated individuals with life-changing training in nursing and allied health programs. In this role, you'll respond to inquiries from prospective students and conduct admissions interviews. This is crucial in addressing the nursing shortage by enabling future healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students.
• Make 100–150 outbound phone calls daily.
• Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews.
• Follow up with prospects to answer questions and collect documents.
• Document all student contacts and admissions activity accurately.

Position: Admissions Representative — Nursing & Allied Health Programs

What you’ll do:

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students who’ve expressed interest in Unitek programs.
• Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews.
• Conduct consultative in‑person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes.
• Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents.
• Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

Who you are:

• Empathetic, mission‑driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare.
• Comfortable with high‑volume outbound outreach and professional follow‑up.
• Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path.
• Organized and detail‑oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems (experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus).
• Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher‑education sales experience preferred.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors
• Excellent presentation skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
