Job summary

Unitek College is seeking an Admissions Representative for Nursing & Allied Health to guide prospective students from interest to enrollment. The role features a hybrid schedule (1 day remote, 4 days in person) with typical hours 9a-6p or 10a-7p, supporting nursing and allied health programs.

You’ll conduct outreach, consult with applicants, and document interactions in Nexus/CampusVue. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years in customer service or admissions-related

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admissions experience).
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours weekly.

Job Description

Position: Admissions Representative — Nursing & Allied Health

Schedule: 9a-6pm or 10a-7pm. Hybrid 1 day remote and 4 days in person.

What you’ll do

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students who’ve expressed interest in Unitek programs.
• Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews.
• Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes.
• Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents.
• Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

Who you are

• Empathetic, mission-driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare.
• Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and professional follow-up.
• Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path.
• Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems (experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus).
• Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher-education sales experience preferred.
