Job summary

Unitek College is seeking an Admissions Representative for Nursing & Allied Health programs in the San Jose area. You will manage high-volume inquiries, conduct interviews, and guide prospective students from interest to enrollment.

The role emphasizes empathetic communication, consultative sales, and accurate documentation within Nexus/CampusVue. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and familiarity with Microsoft Office is expected. This position offers growth in a collegiate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with CRM or student information systems (Nexus or CampusVue a plus).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students.
• Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest and schedule admissions interviews.
• Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews presenting program options and outcomes.
• Document all student contacts and admissions activity in the CRM/SIS.

Position: Admissions Representative — Nursing & Allied Health Programs

What you’ll do:

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students who’ve expressed interest in Unitek programs. Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews. Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes. Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents. Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

Who you are:

Empathetic, mission-driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare. Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and professional follow-up. Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path. Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems (experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus). Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher-education sales experience preferred.
